Abstract

Alveolar hemorrhage is a medical emergency that compromises the patient's life, which requires early and timely diagnosis and treatment. The clinical case of a patient who presented a hypertensive emergency associated with unknown renal disease with the need for chronic dialysis is presented. Subsequently, he developed a picture of diffuse alveolar hemorrhage, being a lung-kidney syndrome, for which reason immunological studies were requested, which revealed positivity for Anca P. Vasculitis associated with anticytoplasmic antibodies was suspected, for which treatment with corticosteroids and cyclophosphamide was started with Good respiratory clinical evolution, but not renal compromise, however, through complementary studies it was not possible to elucidate the definitive diagnosis.
